I bring extensive experience in youth coaching and mentoring, alongside a deep understanding of the challenges they face in today’s world.

My supportive, solution-focused approach is designed to empower young people to recognise their strengths, overcome obstacles and build a pathway towards success.

How many youth coaching sessions will my child need?

There’s no set number, but I recommend starting with 6–8 sessions of youth coaching. This gives time for real progress, strategy work and reflection. Weekly sessions tend to work best to begin with, but we can space them out – fortnightly, monthly – as needed. Sessions are for one hour.

What age group is youth coaching suitable for?

The One-To-One Coaching For Young People sessions are designed for those aged 11–18. Whether your child is in secondary school or sixth form, the support is tailored to their age, needs and goals.

How do I help my child feel ready for their first session?

We start with a free introductory video call – a relaxed chance to meet, ask questions and understand the format. Please reassure your child that youth coaching isn’t a punishment – it’s an investment in their future success and is there to support them, especially if they’re facing challenges. Honesty and openness are encouraged right from the start.

Can youth coaching sessions be delivered online or in person?

Yes. One-To-One Coaching For Young People is available online via video call. Face-to-face sessions may also be available depending on location and availability. Either way, the aim is to create a calm, focused space for each session.

What if my child doesn’t want to take part in coaching?

The complimentary video call is a chance to reassure your child and explain how youth coaching helps them overcome challenges. For coaching to work well, the young person must be willing to attend and engage. This is always approached in a supportive, non-pressured way.

Will I receive updates on how my child is progressing?

Yes. I usually debrief with both parent and child at the end of each session together. If that’s not possible, we’ll agree on the best way to share updates – either by email or phone. Sessions are private, but I’ll always inform you of anything concerning, in line with safeguarding responsibilities and duty of care.
